<description>Movable Type also created a comment for me as well so that I could see what a comment will look like on my blog once people start submitting comments on all the posts I will write.

<description>I think his/their main problem might be that the either refused to use non-MS malware removers or tried Symantec&#039;s.

I have run into something similar, where I was indeed able to remove all the malware - but the computer was left so severly fragmented that it couldn&#039;t be saved, needing a wipe and re-installation of the OS.

<description>Because having to change it manually all the time is a real pain in the neck...

Want to watch a DVD? Have to go into prefs and change it to a higher value.
Want to sleep? Go back into prefs and change it to 1... etc...

&lt;a href=&quot;http://nzdigital.com/2006/03/solution_turning_off_imac_screen-kinda.php&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;I came up with a solution in my followup&lt;/a&gt;.

<description>Um...why don&#039;t you just change the display preferences in the System Preferences panel to turn off the display after 3 minutes or whatever you wish...you can also tell it to not go to sleep. Maybe you already knew this, but from your entry it seems not...

		<description>Some little correction:

Macro viruses in MS applications only work in Mac OS 7-9.x.

None of the MS Macro viruses work on Mac OS X.

<description>I guess I failed to mention that everyone I&#039;ve talked to on Skype are on Broadband connections, including myself. I have not tried it over dialup.

Without a headset and echoing cancelation turned off, I or callers can sometimes hear a faint echo about a second or so after.

But we are very happy with it over Broadband connections.

<description>I downloaded and tried out Skype yesterday for the first time and thought that the Voice chat service it offered was DREADFUL. I ran iChat side by side and it was much clearer and there was a very short time delay.
With Skype I would say something, finish a sentence and would hear the echo of my sentence being repeated on the other end....right from the beginning!
I dont know if the process is any better with a broadband connection but for people with dial-up dont waste your time downloading Skype.
Regards
Ronan
